how i’ve been reading more since 7.24.2020

Happy Swiftie Sunday!!!

Okay the title is a little misleading. Technically, I haven’t been reading more, but I have been having longer sessions of reading…if that makes sense. Instead of reading a few chapters at a time, I’ve been reading about 150-300 pages in a single sitting. How? Folklore.

Folklore is the ultimate reading album.

The vibes are just impeccable, it’s chill enough that it keeps your focus on the book, but if you get distracted, it naturally just leads you back to the book.  Starting with The 1, you are eased into the intense reading session. If you aren’t fully interested yet, the slightly bouncy first track guides you through the world building/getting familiar with the plot. As the album continues, it gets more intense and more immersive.

ALSO since Folklore is 1 hour and 3 minutes in length, it is super easy to tell about how much time has passed when reading, so you don’t have to pick up your phone and risk distraction. For a good session, I’ll listen to it all the way trhough twice.

This has helped me sooooo much, so if you like Taylor, try this!

I read all 750 pages of Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer in just under 3 days while doing this. So I’m calling it magic.

Let me know what you listen to while reading!
