pride-a-thon tbr

I’m a little bit late to this party, but I’m here and ready to go!

Pride-a-thon is a new readathon hosted by Marta at Stellae Thoughts and Kav at xreadingsolacex to celebrate Pride! This readathon will take place from June 1st-30th and has 4 reading challenges dependent on your answers to each question.

1ST PROMPT: BIRTH MONTH

January- the first book in a series || February- a book under 200 pages 

March- a retelling || April- a book with nature on the cover 

 May- an intimidating book || June- a middle grade || July- a graphic novel

August- a 5-star prediction || September- a book recommended by a friend

October- a book outside your comfort zone  || November- favorite color on the cover

December- a translated book 

2ND PROMPT: FAVORITE GENRE

Fantasy- a book that features magic || Science Fiction- a book set in outer space

Contemporary- a book with a MC you relate to 

Historical fiction- a book set in your favorite time period 

Mystery/Thriller- a book you know nothing about

3RD PROMPT: FAVORITE FORMAT

Paperback- a feel-good book || Hardback- a book with a hard-hitting topic

E-book- a book that features technology || Audio- a book that feat. music/podcasts 

4TH PROMPT: FAVORITE TROPE

Found family- a book that follows a squad || Chosen one: a hyped book

Enemies-to-lovers- a book you had no interest in but changed your mind about

Fake dating- a book that features deception || Unlikely friendship- focus on friends

Love triangle- a book you’ve been indecisive about picking up 


I have 7 books that I am debating reading this month. I may read them all if I can, but I’m not sure.

Paperback- Heartstopper vol. 1 by Alice Oseman OR Lily and Dunkin by Donna Gephart

Enemies-to-Lovers- How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring Blake

BONUS: Wilder Girls by Rory Power & Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell

If I can, I’m going to try to get my hands on The Black Flamingo by Dean Atta as well.
