Happy Sunday!
Today, I wanted to do an oldie but a goodie: the Guilty Reader Book tag! I found it on Hannah at A Clockwork Reader’s channel, but couldn’t find the OP.

So. I suck at TBRs. I really do.
I’m such a mood reader that I can’t keep up with TBRs. They just put me in reading slumps. I’ve tried a TBR jar before, and, as expected, it didn’t work. This time around, I decided to take inspiration from some Booktubers and make a TBR prompt jar.
This week I read Lily and Dunkin, thinking that it would be a cute middle grade story about the friendship between two outcasts. I was wrong.

If you don’t know me, you probably don’t know how seriously I take my coffee. I’m what one would call a “coffee snob.”
I worked as a barista for almost 4 years, managed a specialty shop at 18, and then worked at Peet’s and Starbucks. So like….I really like coffee. When I found this tag created by BangadyBangz on YouTube, I knew it had to be done.
So, I saw Meg at megwithbooks do this video.
In it, she talked about how she wanted to read these 21 books before her birthday, whether they were ones that she had been putting off or were just super excited for. While watching, I was thinking about which books I would want to read before I turn 21 in 6 months.
Thus this list was born!
For Pride-a-thon, I read Let’s Talk About Love by Claire Kann, and I was hypeeeedddd for it. I had wanted to read it since it came out in 2018, and I was finally getting around to it. I was genuinely expecting it to be 5 stars….that didn’t happen

It’s that time of year again. The online book community is going to be flooded with the Mid Year Book Freakout Tag, so add this to the list.
2020 hasn’t been the best reading year in terms of quantity but the quality, for the most part, has been incredible! At this point, I haven’t read anything below 3 stars which is actually kind of unbelievanble.
This was one of the most suprising 5 star reads I have ever read.
I was obviously hoping I would like it, but I didn’t think I would love it THIS much. Like, it sounded interesting. Superheroes, morally grey characters, dystopian society, anarchy? Sign me up! But somehow, I was just expecting it to fall flat. Thankfully, it didn’t.

I’m a little bit late to this party, but I’m here and ready to go!
Pride-a-thon is a new readathon hosted by Marta at Stellae Thoughts and Kav at xreadingsolacex to celebrate Pride! This readathon will take place from June 1st-30th and has 4 reading challenges dependent on your answers to each question.
This is going to be a long one.
I’m going to start off by letting all y’all know how much I love the Harry Potter franchise. Harry Potter was there for me when no one else was. Hermione was the first character who didn’t make me feel like a freak for preferring to read at recess. Ron taught me how to be a good friend. I have a tattoo of Ron’s broken wand on my arm. This series is so important to me.
