Let’s talk about reviews.
If you’re a bookish content creator, you know that reviews are not the easiest to make. It takes a lot of time, effort, and preparation. If you aren’t, you have no idea. I had no idea until I started.

Happy Swiftie Sunday!!!
Okay the title is a little misleading. Technically, I haven’t been reading more, but I have been having longer sessions of reading…if that makes sense. Instead of reading a few chapters at a time, I’ve been reading about 150-300 pages in a single sitting. How? Folklore.

This was so much better than I ever could have hoped.
Happy Swiftie Sunday!!!
A while ago I did a post similar to this where I matched books to each of Taylor’s albums to books, so if you’re interested click here(;
This time, we are going through all the tracks on Taylor Swift’s debut album!
I really felt like I didn’t read anything in the last couple months, but I read 16 books between the two months…so… that’s kind of cool.
In June I read 9 books and in July I read 7.
AH! It’s the first post of Swiftie Sunday! ❤ I’m so excited!!!! Okay…phew let’s do it.
If you haven’t heard of folklore by now, I’m actually kind of jealous of you because it means you don’t spend every minute of the day obsessing over Taylor Swift….what’s that like?
I want to start out by saying that I am not here to accept any apology or comment on any apology that is not mine to do so. What happened this year with the Reading Rush is not something that affects me the same as it does others. The purpose of this post is simply to spread awareness of what happened for those who are not active on Twitter or who are just unaware.
That said, the Reading Rush no longer has my support.
So we have a new series going up!
I’m not sure if I have ever actually announced it, but the structure of my blog is: tags on Sundays, reviews on Wednesdays, and anything else I feel like posting on Fridays.
For the next few weeks, I’ll be replacing the tags with Taylor Swift content. This content can be tags, matching albums to books, etc.
I felt like this would be a fun way to revamp my blog since I haven’t been posting lately. Fortunately I only have 2 more weeks of summer classes, so I’ll be back to posting regularly soon.
If you have any ideas for me to incorporate into this series, let me know!
Love always,
ej.
Hey y’all.
I know I haven’t updated my blog in the last two weeks. I kept meaning to. I really did.
At long last, I finally read The Anti-Virginity Pact by Katie Wismer.
Katie’s YouTube channel, Katesbookdate, is one of my favorite channels on the website, so when she announced TAVP, I was STOKED. I actually got approved for an e-ARC on Netgalley, but I didn’t download it in time 😦 Then I preordered it from Barnes and Noble and didn’t receive it until over a week after publication (which was incredibly irritating).
I finalllllyyyyyy got to reading it today and finished it in one sitting.
